About Me
Photography is more than just a hobby for me, it connects me to the land that surrounds me. Taking photo’s in nature, helps me to slow down and notice the beauty in small things that I tend not to notice in the hustle and bustle of daily life. Photography helps me to slow down, be in the moment and observe the world more keenly.
This creative outlet has deepened my appreciation for the natural world and I often feel compelled to capture it. It serves as a reminder of our responsibility to take care of the places we cherish. In my photographs, I hope to inspire others to see the same wonders I do, to foster a sense of stewardship towards our planet.
Ultimately, photography has become a vital component of my identity, a means of expression that intertwines my passion for art and love for nature. It allows me to transcend the ordinary and connect with the extraordinary, both within myself and the world at large. Through my lens, I strive to document not just sights, but feelings, memories, and the innate beauty of life as it unfurls in front of me. In every frame captured, I find joy, purpose, and a sense of belonging to this land.

About My Work
When I am out, with or without my camera I always acknowledge to myself the Indigenous people upon whose land I am walking. For me it is important to acknowledge traditional custodians both out of respect and also to help me to connect to pre colonial history and to country. Recently I have begun identifying the Aboriginal country for each picture I display.
It is also important to me, in addition to connection to country to avoid waste and recycle as much as I can. For this reason many of my pictures are presented in recycled frames. These are frames that I have found in op shops and on the side of the road and that I have restored in a way that is complementary to the picture that I think suits each one best.
